Here are a few valuable lessons I learned throughout my time in the student organization that I’d like to pass on to all future members:
1) Challenge yourself every day to provide value to those around you by strengthening your weaknesses and giving back because knowledge is not power, but sharing it is. 2) Regarding competition, do not focus on the people around you but focus on yourself; the only competition you have is yourself. 3) Align your short-term goals with your long term goals taking it day by day, hour by hour, and minute by minute. 4) It’s not who you know, it’s not even what you know; it’s who you know, and what they know you know.
